Administrative Specialist

Position Opening

Primary Function:

GenPro Energy Solutions is the region’s foremost expert on renewable energy integration, energy efficiency, and sustainable energy product offerings.  GenPro is focused on three major industry sectors including energy efficient lighting systems, solar powered solutions, and solar water pumping.

GenPro is seeking an experienced administrative specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting the three main department managers, front-office reception, and other clerical duties. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of administrative expertise, but also be technically minded and able to understand, interpret, and speak technically.

Reporting Relationship:    Chief Operating Officer

Pay Grade & Range:   G7, $16.57 – $21.91 DOE

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all GenPro Energy Solutions customers
  • Field customer calls, emails, and walk-in traffic
  • Handle material returns and warranty requests
  • Draft and compile content for O&M manuals
  • Compile content and create sales proposals
  • Project tracking; schedule inspections
  • Assist in all phases of project assessment, savings analysis
  • Remain current on new product and service offerings
  • Support all departments by maintaining online and physical filing systems

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Represent GenPro Energy Solutions in a professional manner
  • Ensure customer satisfaction – both internal and external to the company
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service, sales and/or marketing experience
  • Prior electrical industry or other technical field experience desired
  • Experience in renewable energy and/or water pumping is highly desirable

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or similar preferred, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of lighting technologies
  • Knowledge of the clean-tech market, including solar energy
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft products and CRM software

Skills/Ability/Other Characteristics:

  • Strong human relations skills to build, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer applications: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and ability to learn specialized software programs.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and support internal team goals and external customers in a fast paced environment.

Certifications/Credentials:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
