Supply Chain Services Logistics Coordinator

Primary Function:
GenPro Energy Solutions is seeking a highly organized and motivated Supply Chain Services Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Services Team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for freight and all shipping logistics, cycle counting, date entry, obsolete inventory reduction. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, can work independently, is detail orientated, and experienced in inventory software and databases. A minimum of two years’ procurement and inventory management experience is necessary for this position.
Reporting relationship: Associate Director of Supply Chain Services
Salary Grade: G-8: $18.39 Hour – $24.32 Hour DOE (Full-time Status)
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Develop strong lines of communication with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders
- Process all inventory returned from jobsites to the warehouse, jobsite to jobsite, remote inventory sites to jobsites, and job trailers to jobsites and vice versa
- Manage and perform daily cycle counting duties
- Adjust inventory levels as directed resulting from returns, warranty claims, cycle counts, or annual or semi-annual inventory counts
- Manage all inventory data entry processes including csv files from vendors providing complete information for all inventory items in the system as requested by SCS management
- Manage the creation of all new inventory add items with complete data as requested by SCS management
- Manage obsolete inventory reduction for all GenPro Energy profit centers
- Manage database of key stakeholders relating to supply chain and maintain excellent communications up and down the organizational hierarchy
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist warehouse assistants in picking orders, palletizing, offloading shipments, and other warehouse related duties as needed
- Assist in initiating, receiving, and processing purchase orders for change orders and field pick-up inventories
- Assist in creating and assembling all inventory kitting and manufacturer builds
- Assist other team members on the warranty process duties
- Must follow all health and safety protocols according to the company and state regulations
- Always wear required safety gear when performing tasks
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
- Operate heavy equipment such as a forklift as needed
- Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
- Work as an active team player to complete team goals
- Maintain inventory control by following warehouse stocking guidelines and barcoding practices
- Other duties as assigned

- Physical Demands and abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to lift and move objects 10-50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Standing/walking for long periods
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, lift or stretch
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Climbing and descending stairs and ladders
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers

Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles
- Knowledge of the electric and/or renewable energy industry preferred

Experience & Education:
- Proven working experience related to supply chain and/or logistics
- Experience with construction, utility, or electrical contracting in multi-state regions
- Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years procurement and inventory management experience is necessary for this position.
- Seasoned driver – experience pulling a trailer preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver License with clean driving record
