Mr. Thares has served on numerous boards including Presentation College Board of Trustees, Northern State University Foundation, South Dakota Horsemen’s Association, South Dakota Thoroughbred Association, Catholic Community Foundation of Eastern South Dakota, and in 2017 was appointed by Governor Daugaard to serve on the South Dakota Board of Regents, which oversees the six public universities and two special schools in South Dakota. He currently manages over $725M in assets and serves as the CEO of Primerose Properties.
