As Founder and Chairman of GenPro Energy Solutions, Dwight Patterson cast the original vision of building GenPro into a vertically integrated energy solutions company. His ability to foresee critical market developments long before their mainstream emergence has enabled GenPro to position itself at the forefront of the renewable energy industry—engaging key opportunities at the precise stages ripe for growth.

Now serving as Chairman of the Board, Mr. Patterson continues to provide strategic oversight and guidance to GenPro’s leadership team, focusing on long-range vision, special projects, and the preservation of the company’s culture of relentless excellence.

Driven by a passion for education, Mr. Patterson lectures for government entities and participates in energy and sustainability programs across the nation. With his deep technical expertise in power generation technologies, he has been instrumental in the design and deployment of numerous pivotal solar-powered systems worldwide. These include distributed energy networks, telecommunication platforms, environmental remediation systems, water filtration and delivery solutions, and advanced energy storage applications. Mr. Patterson also continues to advise heads of state and international partners in addressing complex global energy challenges.

Notable honors include Small Business Administration Exporter of the Year – South Dakota, Business Advisory Council Businessman of the Year, Honorary Commander of the U.S. Air Force at Ellsworth AFB, and Diplomat for Elevate Rapid City.

Mr. Patterson resides in Rapid City, South Dakota, where he is also an avid wildlife photographer and adventure traveler.
