PROJECT MANAGER
GenPro Energy Solutions is the region’s foremost expert on renewable energy integration and sustainable energy product offerings. GenPro is focused on four major industry sectors including solar power solutions, solar lighting systems, solar water pumping and filtration, and cleantech product distribution.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful execution of EPC projects from pre-mobilization through final completion. This role is accountable for coordinating with field personnel for field execution strategy, subcontractor quoting and selection management, and schedule adherence, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on budget, and on time. The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader with strong communication skills and a background in solar or general construction.
The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination between field crews, subcontractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders, and maintains a high-level understanding of both technical and operational project elements.

PAY GRADE AND RANGE: G-12 — $104,235 (Min) to $143,844 (Max) plus bonus opportunity
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Project Execution & Coordination
- Coordinate with the construction team for kickoff meetings and proper handoff of information.
- Communicate customer expectations to the construction team and report project status back to the customer.
- Manage and adjust project schedules in alignment with real-time field conditions.
Subcontractor Management
- Obtain quotes, select subcontractors, and complete contracting.
- Communicate scope of work (SOW) and schedule expectations to subcontractors.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices based on progress and deliverables.
Schedule Management
- Build and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Planning & Engineering teams.
- Identify critical-path items and forecast delays or resource needs.
- Lead lookahead meetings and provide updates to leadership.
Construction Administration
- Ensure accurate documentation of construction activities, including daily logs, change orders, and RFIs.
- Use Procore to track progress, manage submittals, and maintain document control.
- Coordinate with Permitting/Admin Specialist to ensure all permits are obtained and compliant throughout execution.
Close-Out Support
- Coordinate with the close-out team on punch list resolution, inspections, and final walk-throughs.
- Assist in compiling close-out documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
- Self-starter with the ability to manage details of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and edit Excel documents using mathematical formulas and logic.
- Ability to create, read, and understand construction documents, including electrical diagrams.
- Skilled in drawing review with an eye for detail; capable of cross-checking multi-sheet construction sets for accuracy and consistency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION/LICENSES
- Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
- CDL preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel will be required.
- Passport eligible.
