Project Details: Because of the remote location of the Rosebud reservation, winter storms can wreak havoc on the electric grid. Since most homes in the community run off of electric heat it is critical during a power outage to have a community center where residents can gather during a storm. In 2015, GenPro partnered with the Rosebud Sioux tribe to bring back-up power to key community centers across the reservation. GenPro also designed two large portable generators that could be deployed to different locations depending on the need.
