The city of Fremont, Nebraska had such an overwhelming response from the community wanting to participate in the program that they decided to create a second phase. The first solar farm sold out in seven weeks. There were 150 people on a waiting list for the second farm, and around 300 who have expressed interest in solar energy in general.
