GenPro began working with the City of Lexington in 2015 to analyze how a solar farm would benefit the City. Partnering with Nebraska Public Power District and finance partner Sol Systems, a demand savings model was created to calculate the City’s avoided cost and understand how solar could help the City save on their electric bill. The solar farm went online in May 2017 and was at the time the largest solar project in the State at 3.91 MW AC power.
